Peer Review Process

INFORMASI INTERAKTIF : Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Informasi implements a double-blind review process. Authors are encouraged to suggest at least three potential reviewers, along with their names and email addresses. However, the editor ultimately decides on the appropriate reviewers. Proof galleries of approved manuscripts will be reviewed online as soon as possible after receipt from the authors and final proof-reading by the editor-in-chief. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not permitted. Software tools can be used to screen submitted articles for plagiarism. Overlapping and similar text detection is used, so appropriate citations and quotations should be used whenever necessary. It is the author's responsibility to submit only manuscripts that are free from plagiarism and academic malpractice. The editor, however, double-checks each article before publication. The first step is to check for plagiarism against offline databases by the Editorial Board of INFORMASI INTERAKTIF : Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Informasi and second, against as many online databases as possible.

The editorial board will make a decision based on comments or suggestions from reviewers. Reviewers will assess the paper's originality, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field/science. INFORMASI INTERAKTIF : Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Informasi has four types of decisions:

- Accepted,
- Accepted with Minor Revisions (allow the author to revise within the specified timeframe)
- Accepted with Major Revisions (allow the author to revise within the specified timeframe)
- Rejected (generally, for reasons outside the scope and objectives, issues with the main technical description, or lack of clarity in the presentation).

To check for plagiarism, the Editorial Board of INFORMASI INTERAKTIF : Jurnal Informatika dan Teknologi Informasi will manually screen the manuscript's title and abstract for plagiarism using Google Search. If any indication of plagiarism is found, the editorial board will immediately reject the manuscript.
